When the coronavirus pandemic hit, schools across the country closed and transitioned to "learn from home" lesson plans.

As a 7 year old, Michael failed nearly all of his first-grade spelling tests and struggled to learn to read. He was fortunate to be at a school that was able to get him the help he needed, a reading specialist spending one-on-one time with him for more than a year, to succeed. Fast forwarding, during college, Michael discovered a talent for writing code. His 4+ year career in software development fostered the skills necessary to bring StudyHall to life.
